| Welcome to Bellevue Wolverines Girls Lacrosse! |
Welcome to the new website for the Bellevue Wolverines Girls Lacrosse program! The mission of our program is twofold: first, we promote the game of lacrosse to girls from 2nd through 12th grade living or attending school in the Bellevue High School (WA) attendance area; second, through lacrosse we teach those girls sportsmanship, teamwork and a will to win.
Bellevue Wolverine Girls Lacrosse includes the following teams: a 2nd Grade "Intro to Lacrosse" program, and a 3rd/4th Grade team in the Elementary Division; a 5th/6th Grade team and a 7th/8th Grade team in the Middle School Division; and a Junior Varsity and Varsity team in the High School Division. While we have the support of the Bellevue High School Athletic Director and follow Bellevue School District policies, we are not a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association high school sport but rather a “club” sport. This means parents, a parent led board and coaches are responsible for the program at all levels, including high school.
The official season for both youth and high school starts in late February and ends mid-May for high school and in June for youth. No activities are scheduled during Spring Break.
